Terms of Service
Last updated: 18 October 2026
These terms govern your use of La2eeto.
The service
La2eeto lets you create profiles for pets, belongings, people and (parents and guardians only) children; generate QR codes that open a public page showing only what you choose; receive private messages from people who scan them; publish and search lost-and-found reports; and share a pet with family members.
Your account
- You must give accurate information and keep your password secret.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You must be 18 or older to create an account. A child never has an account: a parent or legal guardian may create a child's profile from their own account and, by doing so, confirms they are the responsible adult.
Acceptable use
- Do not use La2eeto to harass, deceive, stalk or track anyone.
- Do not create a profile for a person or child you are not responsible for, and do not publish another person's private data.
- Do not upload photos or text you do not have the right to use, or that is unlawful or offensive.
- Do not post false lost-and-found reports, misuse finder contact details or send spam.
- Do not attempt to access other users' data, scrape the service or disrupt it.
Lost Mode and phone numbers
If you add phone numbers, you choose to show them publicly while Lost Mode is on, and anyone with the QR code or link can see them. You are responsible for the numbers you add. Turn Lost Mode off to hide them.
What La2eeto does not promise
A QR code is not a GPS tracker. Scanning does not reveal a pet's, person's or item's location. La2eeto is a helping tool: it cannot guarantee that anyone or anything will be found, that a message will be read or answered, or a child's safety. It does not replace the police, emergency services, a doctor or a vet. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
Your content
You keep your rights in what you upload. You give us permission to store it and to display the parts you make public, only to run the service.
Moderation
We may hide or suspend a profile or report after a complaint, review new child profiles before they work, and remove content that breaks these terms. If you think we got it wrong, write to support@la2eeto.app.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or stop features. For material changes we will tell account holders by email or in the app before they take effect where we can. Printed tags depend on the service continuing to run.
Ending use
You can delete profiles or your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Liability
La2eeto is provided as it is, without a promise that it will always be available or free of errors. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for loss that results from a QR code not being scanned, a message not being read, or a pet, item or person not being found. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Contact: support@la2eeto.app.
Open items for legal review
- Limitation of liability and disclaimers valid in the target markets, including consumer protection wording.
- Minimum age and consent rules, and the wording about parents and guardians creating child profiles.
- Governing law, competent courts and dispute resolution (the terms currently say Egyptian law and name no court).
- Rules for partners such as vets and shelters, and for paid physical tags once offered.
