How La2eeto works

Three short steps for owners and guardians, and one tap for the person who finds something.

For owners and guardians

  1. Create a profile

For yourself, someone in your care, a pet or an item. For each detail you decide whether anyone who scans, only people you trust, or only you can see it.

  2. Print the QR code

Download it as SVG or PNG and put it on a collar tag, keychain, bag or sticker. Test the link before you print.

  3. Get messages, or report it lost

For a pet, Lost Mode shows a clear warning and your call or WhatsApp number while it is on. For a pet or item you can also publish a lost report. You read and answer messages in your dashboard, and we email you when one arrives.

If you found someone's pet or belongings

  1. Scan the QR code

Use your phone camera. The page opens in your browser. No app or account.

  2. Contact the owner

Send a message through the page. The owner can reply through La2eeto, and their contact details are not revealed unless they chose to share a number.

  3. Share your location only if you want to

Your browser asks for permission. Nothing is shared without your agreement.

Children and families Not available yet

A child profile is created and managed by a parent or guardian. The child never has an account, and nobody can call or message the child: finders write to the guardian through La2eeto.

How child profiles are protected

  • Only a first name or nickname is shown. Never a full name, photo, school, address, routine or live location.
  • A stranger who scans sees at most an age range, an important alert, communication needs and how to help, and only what the guardian chose to share.
  • Health details and phone numbers can never be public on a child's profile.
  • Finders are told to stay with the child in a public place and call the emergency number or the police, then message the guardian.
  • Guardians can invite other guardians and caregivers, and remove them at any time.

Child profiles are switched off until our security, privacy, child-safety and legal reviews are complete. Nothing about a child is published today.

La2eeto does not guarantee a child's safety and does not replace emergency services or the police.
